Cellufun, the mobile virtual community known as "The World's Mobile Playground," announced that they have created a virtual Fashion Week pop-up store featuring designs from Jillian Lewis' Spring 2010 collection. Cellufun debuted Ms. Lewis' new line on Friday, September 4th. Jillian Lewis, a finalist in Project Runway Season Four, is a critically acclaimed designer whose pieces have been worn by countless A-list celebrities.
"Jillian's decision to preview her designs on a mobile platform shows tremendous awareness of how women use technology. They don't want to be tethered to their PC's, and rely on their phones more than ever for access to all kinds of content," said Neil Edwards, CEO of Cellufun. "We are thrilled to host the first ever virtual world debut of a new designer line, and look forward to being part of Fashion Week," he added.
Cellufun's Fashion Week pop-up store will also feature products from the Cygalle Healing Spa, a luxury holistic spa founded by Cygalle Dias. Cellufun users who purchase The Raspberry Q10 Moisturizer or the Rice Peptide Anti-Aging Serum for their avatars will get bonus points in the Strut Your Stuff game. Cygalle Healing Spa is handling the pre-runway skin treatment for designer Charlotte Ronson's models before her September 11th fashion show.
