Emma Watson to design organic clothing line

The lead actress of Hollywood film “Harry Potter” is venturing into the high-fashion world, as she teams up with Italian fashion house Alberta Ferretti to develop a range of organic clothing Textiles. 


Emma has associated herself with the 'Pure Threads' collection, for consumers who support such causes.


The British actress is not new to the fashion industry, as prior to this too she has been Burberry's fashion models for its 2009 A/W campaign, and even posed with her brother Alex in Burberry's S/S campaign in 2010.


She has also been working as a creative consultant with the fair trade fashion brand, People Tree since February 2010. It is believed that a part of her earnings from the Ferretti line would advantage People Tree.


Further, while talking about the venture, she stated that, she is delighted that a luxury fashion brand like Alberta Ferretti has resolved to develop a range of organic clothing.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson to introduce organic clothing

The lead actress of Hollywood film “Harry Potter”, Emma Watson is considering to build up her fashion line by introducing a collection of organic clothing.

As per the reports published by contactmusic.com, the 20 year old star, who serves as a creative consultant for Fair Trade fashion brand People Tree, recently revealed that she is to work in partnership with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti to develop a fresh range of organic clothing.

Emma stated that, they are working on the creation of an organic clothing collection, but did not disclose its name. However, she did say that, further information on this matter would be released soon, and added that, she received a mail from Ferretti, where the designer had mentioned about her admiration for the work done for People Tree, and was looking forward to the opportunity of working with her.
